Established in 1952 by a group of local mums, St Newlyn East Pre-School has proudly served the community for over 70 years. Over time, we’ve grown into a term-time only, full day care setting, welcoming children aged 9 months to 4 years.

As a not-for-profit organisation, we reinvest any surplus funds directly back into the Pre-School—whether that’s through new resources, additional staffing, or enhancing our learning environment. We are also fortunate to receive ongoing support from the local Trevilson Educational Trust.

In our most recent Ofsted inspection, we were rated ‘Good’ in all areas. The report described us as a “friendly and nurturing Pre-School” with “an ambitious curriculum” and “caring staff”. It also highlighted the “wide range of exciting activities” we provide, which “ignite children’s thirst for learning.”
